Photography: CLICK, CLICK !

For our photography finals, we had to do a creative shot using Light Painting Technique.

Here are the concepts I came up with. We were only required to pass one but I tried a few concepts anyway for practice.

Can I just make a special shout out to my brother, Allister for assisting me with the glass shots. I practically dragged him to assist me at around 2am in the morning. :))) THANK YOU THANK YOU. <3

I didn't post all of the pages from our magazine but what's in it is basically just a compilation of all our individual artworks/activities that were done in his class throughout the term.

Photoshop Newbie

Because I am still a Photoshop newbie, come check out my works and activities we did from last last term's Computer Graphics Class. :)

I'm such a noob when it comes to Photoshop I seriously have no skills. Back then, I sort of tried learning it but I didn't have that much patience compared to now so when I found out that we'll be needing it in this class. I flipped out. I was scared. I didn't want to come to class and end up not knowing a thing or two about Photoshop but good thing that almost all of us from that class hardly know how to Photoshop so our prof somewhat taught us. But most of the time, we tried helping each other out.

Paintings

The photo's you will see below are my artworks from my Colorend Class. It became one of my favourite subjects that term because It's so layed back and we didn't have to do colour wheels and all that unlike the other sections-We went straight to painting. It was really fun and at the same time frustrating because there are times that I had a hard time mixing in the colours I wanted. I also used to be so scared of painting because I feel like once I put colour/mark in that empty canvass, I feel like the outcome won't be as pretty as i imagined it to be. :)

I used oil paints for all of these and It takes about 2-3 days for them to dry because I like making mine thick and I love adding texture to all of my paintings.

1st Plate : Black and White

Second Plate : Colours

Third Plate : Portrait To be honest, this isn't my personal favourite. This is the plate i struggled with. I got frustrated. :))

Final Plate : My own concept. I used cotton balls and acrylic paints for the hot air balloon and Oil paint for the basket.

To be honest, sketching objects for me is so much easier so this was quite a challenge. I couldn't believe it at first when my prof gave me 96% for this.

Always remember that you should never doubt yourself and that practice makes perfect. ;)
