Outdoor Fashion Shoot: The Violinist

Here's another fashion shoot I did  for my concept photo class. The task was to do an outdoor fashion shoot for a 'bongalicious' magazine.  (?)

My theme for this one is fairly simple and I shall call it The Violinist. I got the idea from the movie called Fiddler on the roof  but for this one, I made the styling and the setting... modern. =)) haha.
We kind of did the shoot wrong cause we needed the flash for this one and we had a hard time synchronizing it with our camera but YOLO =))) we did it anyway.  (....and yup, because of that we had to re shoot this one again. )

We had our shoot in San Lorenzo Park, Makati. Thanks to our new found friend/model Jaime Laurente who suggested that place. We were suppose to do it in CSA but it was a school day so we weren't allowed inside. haha. #fail.

I found the lighting nice when I took this shot cause of how the light hits his face.

Right photo: This shot is actually overexposed but he looks really happy here. haha.

The shoot that day was super fun & tiring . :| Felt like a kid again with them ! I can't remember how many times we laughed so hard. I swear, we're sooo labo. @-))))

Indoor Fashion Shoot: Greek Goddess

Indoor Fashion Shoot for my Concept Photo Class. My theme for this one is Grecian. I wanted my model to look somewhat like a Greek Goddess. (I didn't  exactly have a specific Goddess in my mind when I thought of my concept. hehe. )  Good  thing I had a dress that sort of fit my theme and a few props so yaay. I had a hard time picking / buying those grapes though  :)))) I was really looking for a specific form and good thing I found one. PHEW. My model is actually Loise's friend so I only met her that day and I'm so happy the things I prepared for her fitted her perfectly ! :) Can I just say that she was extremely nice and beautiful ! Thank you so much for agreeing to model for the three of us ! My shots weren't soo bad. haha. I just wished I had made the settings to high key so the background will be all white and not grey. Nevertheless I love 'em.  :>

I love this shot despite it being over exposed.  (Test shot only)

The final 3 shots I submitted. :>

My Favourite shot of her. :> OMG. Such a Goddess.

SHEEK Magazine

SHEEK Magazine, is a Fashion magazine for teens made for our DESKPUB Class.
This is actually our output for Midterms and we initially have 100 articles and 100 lay outs  all in all including advertisements. It's kind of alot so I'm only posting the one's I did. ;) I'm extremely happy with the grade we got for this one despite the task being given to us late. We were only given about 2 weeks to shoot our own 3 articles & 6 full spread advertisements, lay out them and compile everything. So our whole class really crammed it.  UGH.

Our Cover story is entitled EVOLUTION OF FASHION. Here are the 4 era's we featured 60's, 70-80's, 90's & 2000's. For my part, I did the 90's. :>

Here are my 3 articles:
1. M.A.S.H. Game
2. Kickin' it back the 90's way
3. One Hit wonder: The Macarena

Yeeyuuuh! 4.0 grade for this one ! :>

Front Cover by my groupmate Pauline Kuizon

My groupmates. Groupshot 1 day before the deadline. :)) L-R: Kurt Porcel, Pauiline Kuizon,  Nikki Cruz & Kevin Saavedra.

I'll be posting the BTS from the shoot I did for these articles in my next blogpost! :)

Everyone Has a Dark Side

Low Key and High Key Photo's.

Task: We are to  illustrate a magazine article on bringing up teenagers, entitled "Everyone Has a Dark Side"

For my Low Key photo's, I came up with a teenage rebel doing drugs. @-)) haha. I used confectionery sugar, foil and a straw as my props.

Lovin' the pose. It looks kinda believable-at least for me.

This is definitely not the right way to do the "deed" but wth. I love the effects on this one. :)

On to my High Key photo's. My idea/concept for this one was just to him look like a "Goody Two-shoes".  Mr. "Good boy"  Haha. Look at the transformation ! @-)) haha.

Love  how my model is sooo flexible ! @-) I swear any look is perfect for him! HAHA.

Love it ! =))
