Experimental Works

#productivity #whenboredomstrikes #art

...Newbie in using Adobe software's- don't get me wrong okay, it's sooo confusing and complicated at first. It was frustrating for me but with a little patience and well.. if you are really keen in learning more about it, everything will eventually work out. Here's what I got to do by just experimenting alone and basically fiddling with it.

I used Adobe Illustrator for all of this.

My favourite !!! :) Loved the colours I used.

Swirrryyly, swirlyyyy =))

This is actually my Aunts/cousins company in Bacolod. They just started business a couple of months ago and, since I'm very fond of cupcakes and lollies and anything sweet! One day during my bummer summer mode, I decided to be productive and created a logo for their company. They didn't really ask me to, I did it for practice and for fun!  :)
( I've dreamed of putting up my own too actually, when I was young. )

I sent it to my auntie afterwards and I'm just glad they liked it. hehe. =)))

Annual Report Magazine

                                   My finals for DESNCON Class.

Our task was to create our own annual report magazine based on our company. Check out my previous post:  CNC Tribal Wear Logo :) It's the company I made up in class.

Now, most annual reports's designs are plain, heavy on the text and mmm, boring. ( atleast for me. ) So what I wanted to do is to change all that lay-out and make it interesting and easy read for the reader so they won't feel bored and feel light instead yet informed.

I remained the aztec kind of feel for my lay-out because I think that it was appropriate for my company hence, I decided to use it again for this one.  (It might be a little girly for some, but I loved the way it turned out. )

I had this one printed out too ! I'm actually quite proud of this ! :) hehe.

12 pages- 3 full page spread out.

Hope you guys like it !! :)

Jellybelly

Brand Reconstruction for DESNCON Class.

For this task, we were asked to change the look of our chosen product but not completely, just reconstruct it a bit and somewhat retain it so that the buyers will still recognize the same product.

Product: Jellybelly

      The original

My Reconstructed version of jellybelly :)

SPYDER Sunglasses Poster

Midterm plate for Design Concepts Class (DESNCON)
 4 SPYDER Ads

Before I started, I browsed through a couple of Sypder ads in the internet, turns out that they don't have many. To be honest, I didn't find it captivating nor catchy enough for my eyes to notice. (But hey! maybe it's just me. ) You guys can check it out for yourself if you wanna.
Here's one sample that I found

I wanted my designs to be eye catchy and colorful so that once they type in SPYDER they will definitely not miss this ad. So I made one that's bright and colourful. As you can see it in the photo below. ;)

Here's another one that I guess would have the relaxing or adventurous kind of feeling? :))

This one is sactually my personal favourite. It's simple but very striking in a way and it give's you this mysterious kind of picture. :P (Just my opinion. ) I loved how the way it turned out even though it's black and white.

Last but not the least, I figured not to use a model and create my own character. :)
